Photoreview from a walk Around Kyoto - the former capital of Japan from 794 to 1869. It is considered to be the cultural center of the country, which is home to a lot of Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines, which were not damaged during the Second World War.

Among the main attractions of Kyoto are the Golden Pavilion Kinkaku-ji Temple, the Imperial Palace and Imperial Shinto Heian Jingu Shrine, the Silver Pavilion Ginkaku-ji and others. Kyoto regularly hosts traditional festivals and celebrations, many of which are open to the general public.
