The Riga Cathedral, Latvia 2 783
Show on map
The Riga Cathedral is located in the Riga Old Town. It was built in 1270 and has been rebuilt several times since then.
The main point of interest in the Cathedral is the pipe organ with more than 6700 pipes, that was made in 1884 and still works (please check the concerts timetable on the official website). Lutheran church services are also held at the Cathedral.
In 2011 the reconstruction of the Cathedral has started. It will probably last until 2021.
Please check the working hours on the official website.
