The Norwegian Opera & Ballet Theatre is located at the forefront of the Oslofjord. The famous inclined roof of the theatre building serves as a free observation platform. The ceiling lamp which illuminates the hall of the theatre consists of 800 diodes and is the biggest lamp in Norway. Classic and contemporary operas and ballets are held at the theatre, as well as excursions around the theatre (in English).
Meetings with artists and various workshops for children and adults take place on the at the theatre.
