It is easy to get to the Oslo Vinterpark ski resort by public transport (underground, tram or bus) - a shuttle picks up guests at the Voksenkollen station.
There are 18 slopes, 11 chairlifts, a snowpark, a rental center, a playroom for children aged from 2 to 7, several cafes, a restaurant, the Ski Museum and an observation platform on the territory of the resort. Kids and newcomers can practise in a special area for beginners. Ski schools offer training for children who are 3 years old or older (7 - for the snowboard training).
The season lasts from the middle of November until April.
The Oslo Sommerpark (which is the summer side of the resort) is open from May until October. There is a rope course, some bicycle routs, rental services, a cafe, and a picnic area at Sommerpark.
