Winners of the Kids-friendly Business Award 2017 are named by FamilyWithKids.com
On 10 August 2018, FamilyWithKids.com announced 28 winners of its annual Kids-friendly Business Award. This international award recognizes companies, which have launched new or improved existing services for families with children in the past year. Winners of 2017 are from four countries: Finland, Lithuania, Kazakhstan and Russia.
The award was founded by the editorial team of KidsReview.ru and FamilyWithKids.com back in 2010. Winners are selected by editors, based on their expert knowledge of the market and a unique database of kids-friendly organizations.

Finland
The Moomin Museum in Tampere
The Moomin Museum or Muumimuseo opened in Tampere in 2017. The museum’s first permanent exhibition retells the entire story of the legendary and touching Moomins. Visitors can enjoy three different short movies about Tove Jansson, Tuulikki Pietilä and the Moomin characters themselves, spend time at the museum library and cafe. The Moomin Museum offers free guided tours in English every Saturday and Sunday.
Lithuania
CurioCity Edutainment Centre for Children
CurioCity Edutainment Center for Children is an indoor activity park for kids aged 1 to 13. The center opened in the city of Kaunas in 2017, it is built around the concept of "I play - I know": the goal is to exploit children's natural curiosity and inspire their imagination, creativity and desire to explore, discover, and learn about nature, sciences, different professions and themselves - through play. Kids can try a lot of unusual things at CurioCity: take a flight in a spaceship, be a member of an ambulance crew, navigate an obstacle course over burning lava, slide down a rainbow, save a building from fire, solve detective-style mysteries, make recordings, and more. CurioCity has party rooms, which can be used for seminars and birthday celebrations.
Kazakhstan
Astana Expo 2017 Exhibition Complex
The Astana Expo 2017 Exhibition Complex opened in 2017 and encompasses more than 30 structures and buildings, including the Sphere National Pavilion of Kazakhstan, which tells the story of Kazakh culture, history and nature, displays the Astana-2050 capital development plan, and offers exhibits devoted to the topic of green energy. The exhibition center organizes various culture and education programs for students of Kazakh schools and universities.
