The Aviation Museum in Madrid, Spain

The Aviation Museum is located on the south-western outskirts of Madrid. It is opened only before 2 PM, so it is better to go there in the morning. Here you can see a variety of aircrafts and helicopters, old and modern, civil and military. It is allowed to visit the pilots cabins of some of them. Also there are flight simulators, different aviation equipment, documents and photographs and many aircraft models.

Some of the exhibits are exposed in the open air, and the rest are in hangars. The entrance to the museum is free.
