The Casas Rurales de Guayadeque hotel in the Guayadeque cave, the Grand Canary island 2 467
Show on map
Villas in the Guayadeque village form the hotel complex, located in the cave next to the centre of the Grand Canary island. It is generally thought that the first inhabitants of the Canary Islands, guanchi, also lived in caves. In the Guayadeque village tourists are offered accommodation in modern rock shelters.
Each of 4 villas is made in the cave and each contains all the necessary things for family vacation: kitchen, bathroom, electricity and hot water.
All the buildings in the village (houses, a chapel, a restaurant) are also located in caves.
There are walking trails and the Guayadeque Archaeological museum next to the village.
