The CosmoCaixa Barcelona science museum was founded in 1981. It covers an area of 30 000 square meters and features about 50 000 objects.
Visitors can attend interactive exhibitions dedicated to science and physical phenomena, walk through the tropical forest (where tropical rains are possible), see giant fish and learn more about geology processes.
There is also a Planetarium, a gift shop and a play zone for toddlers at the museum.
Admission is free for children under 18.
