The Railway Museum in Madrid, Spain 722
Show on map
The Railway Museum in Madrid is located in the building of the former Deliсias railway station, which is the oldest in the city. Many trains from different times are represented here: a French train from 1863 (the oldest exhibit) and various locomotives. Tourists can visit the luxury apartment wagons and compare them with the third-class sits, get in the driver's cab, and see the operating models of the "toy" railway, and a collection of station clocks.
From May to October, on weekends, the Strawberry Train departs from the museum, it goes from Madrid to Aranjuez, the "strawberry capital" of Spain.
There is a cafe in one of the train cars presented at the museum.
