The Armory in the Royal Palace is the oldest museum in Sweden, it was founded in 1628. The Armory is located in the basement of the Royal Palace. Historical clothes, arms and armour are collected at the museum. Visitors can have a look at Streiff the royal horse; children can try on armour and skirts, play and draw in the childrens room. Children from 4 to 12 years can attend the Knights Club. Monthly meetings, tournament and lessons of the Knights School are held at the Armory.
