The Astrid Lindgren's World is a theme park, located not far from Vimmerby, which is the hometown of Astrid Lindgren. In the park, kids can visit the Cherry Tree Valley and the Wild Rose Valley, Matt's Fort, the Villekulll Cottage, Karlsson's Roof and Katthult, meet Karlsson, Pippi Longstocking, Emil and other characters. Children can enjoy the magical world to the fullest, climbing and sliding, crossing rivers and watching staged performances (in Swedish).

The park has a cafe, various shops with character-specific merchandise, and picnic zones. The park is open from the end of May until the end of August, on weekends in September, and some days in October and November.
