Show on map
The Kärnan tower in Helsingborg is all that is left from a medieval Danish fortress and often the residence of the Danish kings. The tower was built in the 14th century, and today it houses a historical museum, where visitors can learn the whole history of the fortress, and climb the spiral staircase to the observation deck on top (35 meters tall), and overlooking the port and the Sound. Rent of audio guide is included in the price of ticket. The museum is closed in the winter.
