The Sofiero Palace is a former summer residence of the Swedish royal family. Sofiero is famous for its garden with a large number of local and imported flora, including a large collection of rhododendrons. In the palace itself there is a restaurant and a cafe, exhibitions and concerts also take place here. The park welcomes dogs, but they must be on a leash.

The park has a garden with greenhouses, a rosary, a playground with a slide, a play cottage and vegetable garden, there are also a souvenir shop, numerous paths, benches and even bridges. Some of the park's paths descend from the palace down to the sea. There are a restaurant and a cafe at the palace.
