The ArcelorMittal Orbit sculpture was opened during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. It is located to the east of the city at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. The ArcelorMittal Orbit is the highest sculpture in Great Britain (114,5 meters).
In spring of 2014 two viewing platforms (at the height of 76 and 80 meters) with interactive sensor screens were opened. It is possible to get to the platforms by elevator or by the spiral staircase with 455 stairs. Children under 14 are allowed to visit the platforms only accompanied by adults. There is a gift shop at the podium of the sculpture. The EastTwenty Bar and the Kitchen restaurants are also opened for visitors.
