The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is one of the biggest maritime museums in the world. Museum galleries are dedicated to the history of navigation, famous discoverers and human affection on an oceanic environment. Boats and ships models, maps, armour and other objects are exhibited here.
Also visitors can walk to the Greenwich meridian - the border between east and west hemispheres. There are two children's galleries with various attractions on the territory of the museum, as well as cafes and a gift shop.
The admission is free.
