The Tate Modern was opened in 2000 in the former Bankside Power Station building. It is a gallery dedicated to contemporary art, where thousands of works by modern artists from all over the world are exhibited.
For children there are baby changing rooms and cloakrooms with buggy parking at the museum. Art workshops for children are also held here.
There are a few cafes and gift shops in the museum.
The admission is free.
