Tropical plants from Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and other countries are exhibited in the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden, that was opened in 1982. There is a lake and walking trails, an exhibition hall and a library on the territory of the gardens.
On Saturdays and Sundays visitors can go hiking (advances booking is necessary) or fishing.
The garden is open for camping from Friday to Monday.
The admission is free.
