The Six Flags Magic Mountain Amusement Park is located in Valencia, 50 km northwest of Los Angeles. More than 40 attractions are divided into 3 groups: extreme, family and children's. The main theme of children's attractions is The Looney Tunes Cartoons and their characters, and the adult rollercoasters are themed after comic books about Superman, Batman, Green Lantern and other heroes.
Among the extreme rides the most famous ones are Tatsu (allows to experience weightlessness), Apocalypse (with pyrotechnic effects), Superman: Escape from Krypton, and Full Forward (with a vertical loop, opened in the summer of 2013). The park also has water attractions.
Different performances and festive shows take place here during school holidays, on Independence Day, Halloween and Christmas.
Several dozens of cafes, restaurants and souvenir shops are open on the territory of the park. It is possible to buy tickets and pay for the parking space in advance at the official website.
The park is open from the end of March until the end of August every day, from September to March - on weekends and holidays.
