The US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC features thousands of photographs, film and video historical footage, furniture, models, books and private belongings of the prisoners (such as shoes or clothes).
There is also a Hall of Remembrance at the museum. The Daniel's Story is an interactive exhibition that helps elementary and middle school children understand the Holocaust. The permanent exhibition is available for children over 11 years old.
