The Backby Manor or Backby Kartano hotel has 50 rooms, a lounge with reception, a gym, and a pool with sauna. Some face and body treatments are offered in the hotel's wellness center. The Manor House Restaurant is usually open for a la carte dinners on Friday and Saturday evenings, making a reservaton is recommended.

The pool and gym are open to hotel guests and holders of serial tickets. Historic background: Backby Manor was once known as the Kaisankoti Home and from 1957 to 2018 was owned by the Kaisankoti foundation. Kaisankoti was founded by Kaisa Kallio - the wife of President Kyösti Kallio - in 1938, after she received 375,000 Finnish markkas as a gift from the general public for her 60th birthday. At first, the property was a private medical institution whose clientele consisted mainly of the elderly. Later it turned into a research and treatment facility, and then a rahabilitation and holiday enter with the addition of a new hotel and spa building. In 2018 the foundation divested its hotel and restaurant business, but continues to operate in the premises of Backby Manor and focuses on the provision of rehabilitation and working life services.
