A House is a historical and art museum in Turku. The house was donated to the Academy by Alfred and Helene Jacobsson to preserve the atmosphere of upper class life in Turku in the 19th century.
Now the visitors can see historical interiors in neorenaissance style. The collection of paintings by Finnish artists is also exhibited at the museum.
The museum is closed since January until April. Guided tours outside ordinary opening hours are available.
