The European School of Helsinki is located in the historical heart of Helsinki. The school is maintained by the Finnish government and is accredited by the European Schools’ Network. ESH has a two-year nursery cycle, a five-year primary cycle and a seven-year secondary cycle. Instruction is provided in three languages: English, Finnish and French.

The European School of Helsinki follows the European Schools’ structure and syllabi. Graduates receive European Baccalaureate (EB), which is recognised in the European Union and a number of other countries.
