The Finnish National Theatre in Helsinki was founded in 1872 and now it is the oldest Finnish-language professional theatre in Finland. The building itself was created in 1902 by Onni Törnqvist-Tarjanne in neo-romantic style. Now the performance for children and adults are held on three permanent stages. Discussion groups and drama courses are the part of the educational program of the theatre. The Club Scene evening club invites for music, drama and poetry performances.
