The Forestry Museum of Lapland in Rovaniemi saves, researches, maintains and presents the cultural heritage of the forestry history of Lapland. The museum is situated on the bank of a picturesque lake, not far from the center of Rovaniemi and it presents Lapland’s history through real artifacts and buildings. The museum is only open in the summer months, please check the official website for the working hours. Kids under 16, students and the elderly get discounts on entry tickets and kids under the age of 7 get in for free.
