Haikko Manor is a historic seaside spa hotel offering a wide range of accommodation options for families. Dog-friendly rooms are available in the spa-building. The elegant Manor House features classic, imperial, and suite-style rooms. A hearty breakfast is served daily in the Manor’s main restaurant.
The spa complex includes pools, saunas, a well-equipped gym, treatment and wellness services, a shop, café, and bars. Outdoors, families can enjoy a sandy beach, seaside jetties, and mooring docks. There are grilling spots, seaside park, and an outdoor activity area called Haikko Areena, which includes a mini stadium. Seaside Villa Haikko and saunas are available for rent. A walking trail starting from the hotel’s parking area leads up to a nearby viewing platform, offering a beautiful panorama of the surrounding landscape, harbour, and sea.
For larger gatherings, the manor is also equipped to host family celebrations such as weddings, birthdays, and reunions, as well as conferences and corporate events. During summer, the hotel’s restaurant serves a popular buffet lunch.
Dating back to 1362, Haikko Manor has a rich and colorful history. Over the centuries, the estate has seen fires, royal visits, and artistic inspiration. In the late 1800s, famed painter Albert Edelfelt spent his summers here, drawing inspiration from the stunning archipelago. In 1917, Grand Duke Vladimir Romanov, later head of the exiled Romanov family, was born on the property after his family fled Russia. The modern spa hotel opened in 1974 with a grand ceremony attended by President Urho Kekkonen and other distinguished guests.
