Hamina Bastion, Southeast Finland

The Hamina Bastion is a historical point of interest and a recreation center, which was build in 1998 on the site of a fortification structure from the 18th century. Its 58 casemates are a home to cafes, bars, restaurants and galleries.

In the summer, the Hamina Bastion is covered by a tent and holds a stage and an auditorium, and is a home to a host of cultural and music events for the whole family.
