Hangon Casino, a Historic Seaside Venue in Hanko 52
Hangon Casino is a historic seaside building in Hanko, originally established in 1878 as part of the town's spa complex. Designed by architect Ferdinand von Christierson, the venue has served as a central gathering place for over a century.
In recent years the Hanko Casino has served buffet lunches and operated as a private event venue, hosting weddings, family celebrations, and corporate functions. The elegant interior and open terrace offer stunning views of the sea, providing a picturesque setting for special occasions. A pop-up boutique store is also located at the back of the building.
While not currently open for regular dining (as of summer 2025), the venue remains a notable landmark within walking distance of Hanko's beaches and town center.
