The University of Helsinki Library is the largest multidisciplinary university library in Finland. The library is open to all and provides unrestricted free access to the sources of scientific information. The building that the library occupies was designed by Anttinen Oiva Arkkitehdit Oy in 2012. Inside, there are numerous comfortable spaces for reading and working (armchairs, desks, sofas), phone booths for making calls, free WiFi, coffee machines, and even microwaves for heating up food. The library is fresh, full of light and made for comfortable studying, thinking and working.
