Castle Hiidenlinna opened to public in 1991. It is a unique medieval-like stone castle, built as a Kalevala-inspired environment, designed and constructed by the local artist Reino Koivuniemi. There is a fee for entering the territory of Hiidenlinna.
Inside, there is a Troll Trail, a Taverna cafe with an outdoor terrace in the summer, an Alpine Ski Museum, and an adventure rope park suitable for kids aged as young as 2 and adults.
Hiidenlinna is open to groups, but prior reservation is needed. The restaurant can be reserved for a private event, such as a corporate meeting or a birthday party.
