Himos ski resort in central Finland

Himos ski resort is located in 9 kilometers from Jämsä, in 50 kilometers for Jyvaskyla, in 100 kilometers form Tampere and in 400 kilometers from Saint-Petesburg.

The resort is open all the year round. There are 21 slopes (the longest is 1200 meters), 15 lifts (including 2 chairlifts and 4 free lifts for beginners and children), snowboarding and mogul slopes, half-pipe for beginners and trails for cross-country skiing here.

All the children are required to wear helmets. Children under 7 ski with their parents for free. Ski-passes can be bought online in advance.

There is a hotel Himos, a cottage village HimosResort, Patalahi motel, and 6 restaurants on the resort.

Guests can also take part in a safari on snowmobiles, play golf and go fishing. More information can be found on the official website.
