The Näsinneula Observation Tower is the tallest in Finland (168 meters high) and the second tallest in all the Nordics. The tower is located in the Sarkanniemi Theme Park in Tampere. The observation deck is located at the height of 120 meters in a glass terrace with a cafe. It is possible to go up in a high speed elevator or take the 700 steps.
A spotlight is installed at the top of the tower, which gives a weather forecast for Tampere: yellow light means "clear sky" and green light means "rain". At the height of 124 meters there is a revolving panoramic restaurant of the Näsinneula Tower, which serves dishes of European and Finish cuisine, there is also a kids menu. In the winter time (from September to end of April) the restaurant is closed on Mondays, but all the rest of the year it is open daily.
