The Nuuksio Reindeer Park in Espoo, Finland 3 287
Show on map
Six tame reindeer live at Nuuksio Reindeer Park, where visitors can hand-feed them moss and hear stories about them. The entrance fee during regular opening hours (Sat-Sun) includes lichen to feed the reindeer, campfire coffee (tea or juice), and cinnamon buns enjoyed in the cozy Lappish hut by the fire.
At the Reindeer Park, visitors can also dig for their own lucky stone, a native raw amethyst. The stone comes with a certificate of authenticity. An Amethyst Pass can be purchased on-site.
For small groups, forest trips with reindeer can be arranged in Nuuksio National Park. The Lappish hut also offers catering services by reservation for a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 35. The Lappish hut can be booked for meetings, and the reindeer park is an excellent venue for events such as birthday parties.
Private bookings are available outside the regular opening hours, inquiries in advance: [email protected]

Photo review of the Nuuksio Reindeer Park in Espoo, Finland (27)
The Nuuksio Reindeer Park allows children and adults to see reindeer without travelling all the way to Lappland. In just 40 minutes away from the center of Helsinki, families can see, pet and hand feed real reindeer! The park's five tame animals are friendly to visitors and pick moss from the hands of their guests.
