Olympic Stadium Tower, Panoramic Viewpoint in Helsinki 73
The Olympic Stadium Tower is one of Helsinki’s recognizable landmarks, offering wide panoramic views over the city, Töölönlahti Bay, and the surrounding archipelago. Standing at 72 meters, the tower can be reached by elevator and a short staircase leading to an open-air observation deck.
The Olympic Stadium Visitor Centre features a small historical exhibition, views of the stadium interior, a souvenir shop, and a café.
During World War II, the tower was used as an air surveillance post to monitor aircraft movements over Helsinki. Today, it welcomes visitors as a popular viewing platform and cultural landmark.
Tickets are available at the Olympic Stadium’s Visitor Centre, with combination tickets offered for entry to both the tower and the nearby TAHTO – Center for Finnish Sports Culture. Please note that the tower has limited accessibility due to its original 1930s design.
