The Pyynikkin observation tower is located in the Pyynikkin park and made of red granite. The height of the tower is 26 meters. There is a fee for the entrance to the viewing platform.
In the basement of the tower there is a cafe for 30 persons, famous for its doughnuts. It is recommended to reserve tables for groups in advance. Tickets to the viewing platform and souvenirs are sold right in the cafe. For children under 4 the entrance to the viewing platform is free.
On the Christmas Eve and on the Midsummer Day the cafe closes at 15:00, in other days it is open since 9 in the morning until 8 in the evening.
