The Rauhaniemen public beach with playground and sauna is located on the Näsijärvi lake near Tampere. There is a sand beach and a pier at the rocky end of the beach. The two public saunas are open all-year-round (please bring a bathing suit) and can be rented out. The regular working hours are:
May 1st to September 30th: Mon. - Fri.: 15:00 - 20:00, Sat., Sun.: 13:00 - 19:00
October 1st to April 30th: Mon., Wed., Fri.: 15:00 - 19:30, Tue., Thu.: 15:00 - 20:00, Sat., Sun.: 13:00 - 19:00.
There is a small free parking lot.
