Cultural and historical exhibitions take place in the Riihisaari Lake Saimaa Nature and Culture Centre in Savonlinna. Hiking information is also provided by the centre. There is a gift shop on the territory of the museum.
In summer unique Finnish steamships are exhibited at the museum quay.
