Ruka ski resort is located on Rukatunturi mountain, 496 meters above the sea level. Height difference here is 201 m, there are 34 slopes and 21 lifts (5 chair lifts), snow-park, mogul slope, board-cross track, freestyle slope, pipe and slalom track FIS on the resort.
A ski school for children and children slopes Rosa&Rudolf, playgrounds and a cafe are also located here. There is also a big area for cross-country skiing.
Next to the foot of the resort there is an "alpine Village" with shopping mall, restaurants, shops and renting services. In the Kumpare centre there is a game room for children.
Accommodation is in cottages and hotels, ski bus runs around.

The slopes are of different steepness and length. Snow-park, FIS track, board-cross track, mogul and freestyle centre are open for the visitors. Next to the foot of the mountain you can find cafes, shops, playgrounds and barbecue areas.
