Show on map
The Seurasaari Open-Air Museum is situated on an island, not far from the center of Helsinki. Most of the wooden buildings presented here were built in the XVII-XIX centuries. The houses contain original kitchenware and home decor elements, traditional for the homes of peasants of that time. The oldest structure on the island is the Karuna Church.
There are cafes, play areas for kids and even a beach on the island.
