The Snow Castle of Kemi Amusement Park, Restaurant and Hotel in Kemi, Finland

The Snow Castle of Kemi is the biggest snow castle in the world and it is open from the end of January to the beginning of April. It is being raised every year since 1996 on the coast of Botanical gulf in the centre of Kemi in Lapland. 

Every year the guests of the Snow Castle can visit:
- The SnowRestaurant made of snow and ice (the seats are covered with deerskin)
- The SnowHotel with rooms made of snow and olokolo-cabins for two persons;
- The SnowChapel for up to 60 persons.

Children can spend time at the playground with slides and a hill for donut tubes, play curling or join their parents in winter safari on olokolo-sledge, ice fishing and skiing. Performances are held at the snow scene. Also there is an exhibitions of ice figures with light installations on the territory if the castle.

Opening hours: from the end of January until the beginning of April, daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The SnowRestaurant serves lunch from 11:00 t0 14:00, dinner from 19:00.

Entrance fees: there are special priced for kids aged 4-11, and children under the age of 4 get in for free.

Arttu and Terttu puppets (the symbols of the castle) entertain the visitors and pose for photos every day since 10:00 until 13:00.
