Söderlångvik was the seaside summer residence of Amos Anderson (1878–1961), Finland's leading newspaper publisher and a major patron of the arts. Among other projects, the Amos Anderson Foundation supports the Amos Rex museum in Helsinki.
The Söderlångvik Museum, located in Anderson's former summer villa on the island of Kimito, is dedicated to his life and legacy. It showcases part of his private art collection, along with his library and original furnishings. In addition to the museum, visitors can enjoy various activities at Söderlångvik, such as booking a sauna, exploring the manor’s apple orchards, purchasing apples, honey, and other gifts from the farm store, dining at the Amos Krog restaurant, and taking scenic hikes. There's also a playground with both open and covered areas for children.
The museum is typically open from May to September, with special events - such as the LUX Söderlångvik festival - taking place during other months. Söderlångvik offers free parking and is accessible by boat. Dogs are welcome in the park.
