The are over 40 buildings at The Turkansaari Open-air Museum that illustrate the history of Northern Ostrobothnia and the region's typical livelihoods (agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery etc.). Also visitors can see a church and its vicarage that were built at 17th century. The Turkansaari Museum is a part of the Museum and Science Centre Luuppi.
During interactive programs visitors can watch "farmers" and "craftsmen" working. And on Midsummer's Day traditional ceremonies and games are held at the museum.
Free admission for kids under 18.
Museum works every day from June till September 13th.
