Tytyri Mine Experience takes visitors 110 metres underground in a modern Kone elevator. Down in the mine, visitors are able to learn about the geological makeup and formation of the region, the last Ice Age, the tools and machinery used in mines both historically and today, and see temporary art exhibitions.

The reception building has a customer service and ticket sales desk, a souvenir shop, and restrooms. The tour starts in the reception area, where all visitors get fitting helmets. The modern Kone elevator is able to carry 20 people at a time and runs 10 metres per second. Air temperature in the mine is +8 °C throughout the year. The standard guided tour takes an hour and a half and visitors walk about one kilometer in total. 

Tytyri Mine Experience has special offers for private groups, can organize events - with or without catering - for corporate customers and families, including birthday parties for kids.
