The Ysitien Lemmikki Petting Zoo opened in 1982, it is located in 18 km from Jyväskylä. The park is a home to 21 species of animals, such as cats, ponies, llamas, donkeys, sheep, goats, ducks, bunnies, peacocks, ostriches, emu, wild boars, and reindeer.
The park's cafe offers hot and cold beverages, pastries and delicacies, it is also possible to bring picnic food to the park. Pony rides are offered (at no extra charge) between 12:00 to 14:00. The park is open daily in the summer (from May to mid-August), please check the working times at the official website.
