From the end of December 2018 to August 25, 2019 - the Moomin Ice Cave or a magical exhibition of ice sculptures is held at the Vesileppis Resort in Leppävirta (near Kuopio). The sculptures are in an ice cave, located 30 meters below the hotel. The temperature here stays below zero throughout the year. In addition to the sculptures, guests can enjoy some magical lights, sound effects, sliding down an ice slide, and year-round skiing.

Additionally, it is possible to reserve a reindeer or husky sleigh. The sculptures are carved by the Jäälinnan Mestariviistajät team, including "George", the world champion in ice cutting, as well and the champion of Finland Anssi Kuos.

The Vesileppis Hotel offers accommodation in rooms and cottages. The complex has a lake beach, a spa and waterpark, a bowling alley, a children's playroom, cafe, restaurant and plenty of outdoor sports activities.

The spa complex has a waterpark with slides, a gym with several arenas, bowling, a shop with a sports equipment rental, 2 restaurants, an outdoor tennis court and soccer field, and an all-season ski trail beneath the complex (underground).
