Until November 26, 2017, the Noise of Time exhibition of contemporary Russian art takes place at the Maritime Centre Vellamo in Kotka. The exhibition was brought to Finland from the Erarta Museum (St. Petersburg) and includes paintings of both former unofficial artists and young painters of the post-Soviet period.

All of the works presented at Noise of Time are from the 2000's. Them there are gloomy, bright and colorful paintings, but on all the canvases the artists seem to be in dialogue with the Soviet culture. It is possible to visit the exhibition every day except Mondays from 10:00 to 17:00, and on Wednesdays the exhibition runs until 20:00.
