Photo review of the Haltia Nature Center in the Nuuksio National Park in Espoo. Visitors of the center can observe scenes of nature and inhabitants of Finland's national parks on a huge panoramic screen. The Bear’s Den (Karhunpesä) hall is appreciated by children, who can see the underwater realm of fish, climb into a dark fox den, and see a sleeping bear.

The Snow Canyon exhibit tells about the life in snow and below it, the Flow exhibit is dedicated to the water cycle in nature, the Duck Egg, which symbolizes the beginning of life as in the Kalevala epic, is made up of 620 non-recurring decor elements.

The Green Belt of Metropolitan Helsinki hall uses touch screens to show the recreation areas and the hiking trails in and around Finland's capital. The Haltia Nature Center has a shop which sells maps, compasses, books, calendars, toys, and other souvenirs. The Haltia restaurant serves buffet meals, hot and cold beverages and can seat 200 people.

Temporary exhibitions are organized at Haltia, there is also a free lookout tower with an iron spiral staircase. Free parking is available to park and nature center guests.
