Photo-review of the Kiasma Museum of Contemporary Art in the center of Helsinki, Finland
10.11.2018 1099
We took these photos of the Kiasma Contemporary Art Museum in the center of Helsinki during summer 2018, the year the museum reopened after major makeover. The gallery has a cloakroom, a gift shop and a cafe. Prams can be parked right under the stairs. The temporary and permanent exhibitions of the museum draw attention to the work of Finnish and Baltic artists who illuminate life inside, near, and after the Soviet Union.
The museum is located in a five-story building with windows overlooking the Mannerheim Avenue and the monument to the Marshal himself. The space of the museum provides children with the opportunity of free movement and reflection.
