The Chinese Gargen of Friendship is an inner-city oasis, designed in 1988 by landscape architects and gardeners from Guangzhou. There are willows swaying, the waterfalls babbling, and time is moving slower. The Chinese Garden of Friendship follows the principles of 'Yin-Yang' (the balance of opposing and still complementary forces) and ‘Wu-Xing’ (the harmony of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water).
Tickets to the garden can be bought online.
