The Rose Hill Estate is located in the Sydney suburb of the same name, 45 km northwest from downtown. There is a house which has been owned by six generations of one family, an old school building, a farm and other memorable objects. A visit to the museum is only possible with a guided tour.

The museum regularly offers children's programs: including activities on the farm and earning sweets and other prizes for help with animals.
