The Okatse Canyon in the Imereti Region of Georgia 1 794
The Okatse is a canyon formed by a river bearing the same name. 140 meters above ground, there is a hanging metal bridge, which takes visitors half way across the canyon to a viewing platform. Children over 10 years old are allowed to walk on this route.
In the summer, tourists have to buy tickets from the Visitor Center in the village of Zeda-Gordi. There is a path which leads to the beginning of the route through the Dadiani park.
Once a day a bus runs from Kutaisi to Zeda-Gordi (the distance is 50km), so it is more convenient to take a taxi.
